A Blast from the Past

Tylor's old para from Jefferson dropped off some pictures of Tylor and I have to share some of them. He looks so young! It's hard to believe my little boy is now a young man.

This is Joyce, the para who gave us the pictures

Tylor takes Area First

Ty getting started
October 8th Tylor had his annual Special Olympics bowling tournament in Davenport. I joined in the fun because they don't have a way to transport Tylor in his wheelchair. I it touching to see how much all the athletes enjoy being apart of this tournament. Ty's helper was Sam, his good friend from Jefferson. They had so much fun together!! She even let him wear her hat for luck and guess what it helped...he won AREA FIRST!!!

Gabby and Sam being silly with Ty

There's Sam's lucky hat

Team Jefferson!!
After they were done bowling there headed to McDonald's in Maquoketa for lunch so I told Coach Lucas we would meet them there. Well after taking a little tour through Bettendorf and back through Davenport we finally made it McDonald's. Ty should got a kick out of me getting lost.

I got my eye on you!!

First Day of 8th Grade

Today Tylor got to see all his friends that he missed over the summer, so he was very happy about the first day of school. He did keep in touch with many of them through email and phone calls but it is much more fun to see them in person. Tylor did great getting himself ready with just a ittle assistance from me, he was so proud of himself. After I got him loaded in the van he fell asleep and I tried to wake him up but no success until he heard his friend's voices.

Tylor's new para

I got to pick Ty up today becasue he had PT. He was of course full of smiles when I pulled up. His para told me that he had a great first day. He only had one small seizure and was upset only a few times! What a great way to start off the year.
